What are the details on the zip lines?

You are 85 feet about the ground at the highest point on the twin 1000 foot zip lines. You don't need a reservation for a zip line ride!

Are there any age, height or weight restrictions for the zip lines?

Yes, you must be at least 6 years old to ride the zip line. The minimum weight is 60 lbs. The maximum weight allowed is 250 lbs. to ride the zip line. With these restrictions, the wind is also a factor; on a windy day (determined by staff) you may have to weigh more than the minimum of 60 pounds to ride. This is set because with the wind factored into the equation, a child may not have enough weight to travel to the end of the zip line.

Dress as if you were going hiking. Wear closed-toed shoes and be sure to dress appropriately for the weather. We also strongly recommend that you do not wear any jewelry and long hair must be tied back. Our staff will determine if your clothes are adequate and if they feel your clothing may cause unsafe conditions; you may be refused entry onto the course.

What happens if it rains?

CBK Mountain Adventures will operate in the rain, but may suspend operations during the day of your visit if there is lightning in the general area. If we have lighting within the 25 mile radius of the park, the park goes on “Lightening hold”. This means we will allow guests to continue to the end of the course they are currently on but we do not allow anyone of the ground to begin another course. In the event of lighting within the 15 mile radius of the park, we clear all courses immediately. Guests that are within a game or two of the end of a course will go to the end of that course and hold. Guests that are within a game of the beginning of a course will backtrack and leave the course. Guests in the middle of a course will be lowered to the ground by the guide staff. All guests will then clear the woods and wait out the storm in CBK Lodge. If we cannot resume operations within 75 minutes, guests will be issued a return voucher. This voucher is valid the entire season. We do not extend refunds once guests have started the course.
